Bear with me long story. 11 years ago as a 41 yo police officer I suffered a massive heart attack. Through Gods grace the right doctor was on call and fixed me up. 3 stents later I was on the mend. Fast forward to this past Thanksgiving. I was at the deer lease. Just my Mom and I. I was outside working on the shed and got stung on the ear by a honey bee. I didn’t think much of it, but 3-4 minutes later I started getting dizzy. I went and sat down and 15 minutes later I woke up to my Mom screaming at me while calling 911. Spent Thanksgiving at Petersons Hospital in Kerrville. They referred me back to my cardiologist. Over the Christmas break he ran a bunch of tests which resulted in a scheduled angiogram. Well thank God for the Bee. Left ascending artery where one of the first stents was, was now 95% plugged. They were able to open it and add another stent. Hopefully I can go another 10 years or so on this one. God has been so good to me and my family and I just wanted to say that publicly.
