    Meopta?

Looking at new binos for an upcoming elk hunt in WY this fall. Leaning heavily Meopta because of combination of quality and price (as compared to the Zeiss, Swaro, ). Anyone have suggestions on best on line (price) to shop?

I have the meopta Meopro air 10x42 and have been nothing but happy about my purchase. For $1000 i think they are the best on the market at that price point.

    I bought from B&H photo.

Love mine, Actually Cabela's brand 10x42 made by Meopta when I bought them at least 15 -20 years ago and still use them all the time, very clear and great light gathering early mornings or evenings and super clear. They are sitting right in front of me and use them to check pastures and ponds from the house. I thought there was a problem but come to find out it's me starting a cataract in my right eye. Front of them says Meopta Made in Czech

I have several Meopta scopes I would hesitate to buy a set of binos if I was in the market. Great glass for the $$

Ive got a number of Meopta Scopes and Binos. Ive pared all of my glass down to Swaro, Zeiss and Meopta. They are all relatively comparable IMO.

I'd take a hard look at Maven as well. B Series is comparable to "most" Euro optics at a lesser price point. As for the customer service, it's top notch as well. I received an email with pictures of my bino's before they mailed them and they basically said, "This camo pattern picked up more of the solid color across the top side, do you like it, or would you like us to have them re-skinned?" I told them I'd like them re-skinned and they did so without question. The fact that they looked them over, decided to get in front of the issue and get my opinion I thought was good on their part.

I hunted New Mexico elk 2 years in a row, first year I had Leupold 10x42’s and many times could not spot elk even after someone else pointed them out. Second year I had my Meopta’s and I was spotting elk the other guy missed.

I've only owned rifle scopes, but wouldn't hesitate to purchase any meopta products. Excellent bang for the buck!

B&H and Cameraland is were I'd be shopping.

If you're looking in the $1K price range.....be sure you look at the Leica Trinivid

Ended up getting the Meopro Air 10x42 HDED
                              Initial impressions are VERY favorable.
Best deal I was able to find at the time was Scopelist.com
