I was pretty proud of myself this year. I only lost one arrow due to somebody shooting it, and after we shot Prime, Sitka, and Jack Links courses. I also hit the 147yd moose the first shot, and I was able to sneak it in the 12 ring on the caribou!

I was the tall guy in the group right behind you when you shot the moose on the Prime course. Still a heck of a shot and if I remember right you shot 161 for that course which is pretty dang good.

Thank you! It was 161, but the big guy keeping score forgot 3 targets! I was closer to 182. It gave me a good goal for next year though to break 200.

I was with 1longshot behind your group, and that was impressive. I managed to not lose an arrow on Prime, but did have 2 misses I think.... the rabbit by the old house, and the moose. 200... Yeah that's a goal. We came up about 20 points average per course this year into the low 170s. If we get to the 190s next year I'd take it.

Shot 3 courses in OK, and 4 in TX, and lost 5 arrows in the process. Only lost one in OK ironically. To me there's just nothing like those events. It's punishing, and humbling and if time and money allowed I'd shoot all of them. Already made my notes of things to try differently next year etc.

One thing I love about TAC is the change you go through. Day 1 you walk up on a deer at 55 yards and you're thinking "I hope I don't miss that thing"..... 2 days later you walk up on a 57 yard deer, and you think "finally a short one".
