Coolest Christmas present in some time

We met our daughter this weekend for a day trip to OKC to drop off a piece of furniture to our son. My daughter brought me the coolest Christmas gift, it was delivered late to her, that i have gotten in some time. There are a couple of guys that will make an LP record album for you. They'll include the tunes you want, on clear vinyl. Front and rear cover art are whatever picture / art work you send them. She picked a pick of little junior football Mike and high school Mike. I'll be stealing this idea for future Christmases for a few people. The tunes she picked are tunes we listened to on the way to and from school, play auditions, and just general favorites / good time memories. So cool. I LOVE that girl!

London Homesick Blues for the win! I wore my JJW album out in high school.

I’m really proud that my kids enjoy a wide variety of music. Once we got in her truck to go somewhere, she had ‘Going Down’ by the Jeff Beck Group (if I remember right) dialed up to about 11 on her CD player. One of my proudest days.

one of my clients that I’m visiting this week up in Brevard owns a classic, retro motel.

He has a cool retro turntable in every room

he is having records pressed with royalty free music from the 50’s with his hotel (old style neon sign) on the cover.

Great gift! Amazing and personal! The custom LP with clear vinyl and custom artwork is such a unique idea. The tunes and photos bring back so many memories. I love how thoughtful and creative this is. I find personal gifts most of all. My friend is turning 50 soon. I'm going to present him with a great big canvas picture. It seems to be a memorable thing. I hope he'll like it.
