    PSA-Copenhagen

I have been dipping snuff for 45 years. Had no intention of quitting, wasn’t even thinking about it. We were at work Friday and a guy made some comment about dipping and put a Zin packet in his mouth. I made a joke about him being on his period or what ever.

Long and short is he got me to try one and I haven’t taken a dip of Copenhagen for over 48 hours. Doesn’t sound like much but I sleep with a dip in 50% of the time. This is the longest I have gone with out a dip in 30 years……..and it’s been EASY! If you don’t want to quit I totally get it, but if you’re thinking about it give the nicotine pouches a shot.

First ingredient is Mannital, sodium bi carb, synthetic nicotine and quite a few more. I haven’t researched it yet as I had no intention of using it. I will for sure do that sooner than later.

and I bought Zimo not zin…..I was wrong in my initial post.

I know a lot of folks love it. I’m interested in the health effects. I’m not judging, I’m smoking a pipe at the moment. Tobacco not pot weed. Just not sure about daily nicotine.

I've dipped Copenhagen for 50+ years. Even quit a couple times a long the way. I really enjoy it. Just like my morning coffee. Honestly it's easy to quit, if you really want to. It's a mind over matter. Been thinking about it again. It's getting very pricey.

Zyn is good but I prefer Rogue brand nicotine pouches. I was a Skoal addict so I go with wintergreen. Whatever your brand check out www.nicokick.com - much cheaper than in convenience stores especially if you buy in volume.

I’m 56 and have been dipping snuff for over 40 years and have been wanting to quit for the last 20+. So this Zyn stuff is technically like quitting??

I quit dipping after 35 years by switching to Jerky snuff. I was addicted to the habit, not the nicotine. Gave up the jerky snuff after 6 months or so

It’s just a safer nicotine delivery system because it contains no tobacco. There is no evidence currently that nicotine causes cancer.

I’ve been dipping Zyn for years. Switched to Rogue until it started taking the enamel off my teeth. Back to Zyn.

I used to be a tobacco fiend, I’d dip a can of Cope per day, easy. With Zyn it’s been so easy to quit tobacco. I tell all my friends that dip or smoke to switch to Zyn, it’s really helped some of them.

We’ll see. 48 hours isn’t long but I would sometimes go can and a half a day. Heck, just the cost savings alone now that I see a possibility is motivating. I was going to quit dipping Copenhagen when it hit $0.50/can……ooooops

I feel like its a habit for me, more than an addiction...but I've found the zyn to be just as "satisfying" for lack of a better term. I need to just start buying other stuff instead of snuff.
