I remember one in Fort Worth as a kid. I seem to remember going there a couple of times. I mostly remember the statue in front of the restaurant. I was thinking it was on camp bowie....was there just the one in fort worth?

Well, I don’t really know how to reply other than G-d Bless you for what you have been through and I hope they bring more joy than pain.

Ah yes. I remember the Lemmon and Inwood location. Man that was a long time ago!

They're all good memories. I have to stop after a little while and have a moment. I miss that gal something fierce.

Kips put their ice cream sundae's in a frozen metal tumbler. They were awesome.

I know how bittersweet it must be for you to find these treasures from Alecia, and I'm so glad you shared them here. I grew up eating Big Boy burgers (in Detroit) with my family and one of my last memories with Dad was eating dinner there by the airport before flying back home. Big Boys has always been one of my favorite restaurants growing up, and I frequented a bunch of them up there from the mid 60's to the late 90's. It's crazy, but not impossible, to think that your Alecia may have been my waitress at some point in time if she was up there during those years. Click image for larger version

It's possible that she was. She moved here sometime in the early 80's. She started out waiting tables and as you can see by the name tag, worked her way up to manager.
