Treadlok Gun Safe won’t open

I have a ten year old gun safe from Treadlok, the electronic lock won’t open. Yes I have the correct combo lol. I have tried changing the battery on the lock to no avail. If anyone has a Treadlok that has had this problem, please help. The company is out of business so no customer support either.

I am not familiar with that brand of safe can you tell who the electronic lock manufacturer is?

Make sure the battery you put is brand new,

^^Yup, even heard where some of the electronic locks only want a certain brand of battery as well. Seems strange to me but have read that more than once. Good luck^^

If you have pictures of the safe and lock, I'd like to see them. As stated above, most safe lock manufacturers specify Duracell batteries. I own a locksmith shop, PM me if you have any specific questions.

I had to get a new battery holder for my SentrySafe when that happened.

I just helped a friend change out his key pad, the kit said Duracell battery, and had a reset code , entered that twice and then put in his code to open
Winchester safe , instructions were there and easy
