Way too many field mice/rats around my house. They keep getting inside and making momma crazy.
Whats the best poison to put out around the house ?

I like Just One Bite
Who knows though, it's hard to know if one is better. It would be interesting to see an experiment with how attractive and lethal different poisons are

I use an electric trap baited with peanut butter. Battery operated, and zaps them dead! I got mine at Lowe's.
Or a mean and hungry Tom Cat!!

I had some VERY elusive roof rats and this was the ticket. They were too small for traditional rat trap and too big for a mouse trap.
Chased them for months with traditional traps to no avail. Bought and set out the electronic Victors, and had 9 dead within a week.
Might not be what OP was looking for though.

I wanted to put out bait to get more coverage but I may need a couple of these too

Just one bite
Make a PVC "T" tube and hang the bar on a metal shirt hanger piece from the cap on top of T
Will take care of your problem

Clean up up your area(s) and get a few barn cats.

We use this at the leases in E. Texas & Uvalde. Keep several cubes under the hoods of the jeeps & UTVs. Seems to work good.
