Best place to buy cattle panels/portable pens

I have come across a couple of small properties that I am going to lease for cattle. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to buy portable panels? Best price, brand, STX area.

Facebook market place has a bunch of used ones in centex. They make them in Lometa, can't remember the name of rhe place but you might be able to get wholesale prices if you drive up to get them

In most cases, it's hard to beat Tractor Supply if you buy new, especially the 34" "hog" panels which is what we use as opposed to actual cattle panels. Some deer won't jump in a cattle panel pen. Some of our guys that started with them, have either cut off the top row or cut slots at strategic points for the deer to jump in more easily.

Are you referring to the tube panels that look similar to a tube gate or the welded wire fence panels?

I second Tractor Supply for the welded wire panels. The one near me takes 50% off if the panels are dented a little.

If you are referring to the tube cattle panels, around here, equipment/farms auctions always have them. There are sellers that take their new panels, gates, generators, pressure washers, skid steer attachments to all the auctions.

if you are in Riviera, you can try mccoys or sutherlands. they are semi local. i bought a trailer load of cow panel for a 2500 foot pipe fence upgrade.

Rivera custom gates in Lometa is where I bough my panels. They’re fabed up with a male and female end to link together to avoid T-post. A Hunters best fiend when setting up a pen. I bought mine in 2019 before things went crazy. Should have bought 50 of them!

If you are wanting tube panel cattle panels. It is pretty hard to beat Rising Star Panels or Big Country Panels both are in Rising Star.

I have been buying panels from both for years. They have several different options as far as panels and gates are concerned.

i have had better luck with the extreme panels verses the standard utility panels. All of the tubing on the extreme panels is larger diameter. Super easy to put together and stout.

I know both places deliver all over the state but that would depend on how many panels you are buying
