Grandson whacked a doe that same weekend with similar results. No pic 😞.
I whacked a buck too and tho he piled up in 50 yds, there was 0 blood til the last 5 yds in a snow covered wheat field. Been hard to track with no snow and if in timber! Crazy.

Awesome. Blood trailing in the snow is on my life list.

I wanna track a deer I shot in the snow someday!!!!

But I'd still put Zeke on it and let him have his fun and think he found it for me!!!

It would make easy tracking, but it looks cold. I probably would man the wood heater, waiting on hunting reports.

Oklahoma. Was only mid 20s. Last yr final wknd was like 7Β° with WIND, but no snow. Miserable.

Having tracked a deer or two in the snow I can tell you it is amazing the amount of Blood we DON'T see on a No Snow trail. Every spec will show in the snow and it is amazing what you will see. Everyone should have the opportunity to track in the snow. You will learn a lot about tracking from it
