Air Compressor Upgrade

I need upgrade my air compressor. I need more air volume at 15 CFM or more. I was gifted a 60 gallon tank that could be used as a addition tank to store more air.

So I'm looking at a 60 or 80 gallon tank. etc. I need to keep my budget under $1500.00 Also toying with the idea of addtion adding new motor etc to the 60 gallon tank I have.

Suggestions.

What pressure do you need that flow rate? And for how long?

It would help to know what your end use is. If it is a heavy load for a short duration, the extra tank will help a lot. 15 cfm isn't all that much air, but you may need something a little better than the run of the mill big box store single cylinder pump if it will be constant duty.
