I've leased a 90ac spot for $450yr since 2012, old guys likes us. but in another year or so I'm sure Megatel won't be as cheap to lease from, they own every property surrounding us đŸ˜’

One place, 350 acres, year ‘round access…..$550

The other, 117 acres, but it’s very long with large acreage that gets very little hunting next door, year ‘round access, $500

Both of these are 45 minutes to my stands, so no camp house needed. East Texas

Pay $1,500 for a place in Spicewood. Small acreage, but a ton of deer (some good) and little no hunting pressure from neighbors.

Yeah dealing with 30 hunters and their guest? No thank you.
if you try to scrimp on the cost of a deer lease 9 out of 10 times you will be disappointed

I was on a 6k acre lease north of Del Rio about 20 minutes. Was paying 1850 per gun. 8 guns total.
was a year round lease, WT and exotics.

Too many variables. $100 to $15,000.

We have a small place of 320 acres here in north Texas. There are three of us on it and we all live close enough to it that none of us camp out. It’s really nice to be able to run up to the lease any time I want. Just 28 miles from my house. We pay a total of 4,000 a year so 1333 per man for year round access. We have four tanks on the place all stocked with fish and access to the Trinity River that borders our place. It’s too small for growing big horns so it’s just a meat hunting lease.

$3,500 a man with 5 members on two sections near Breckenridge. Year round access. Have a nice old ranch house that sleeps 8 comfortably. Great landowner. We have oil traffic but nothing terrible.

Just wanted to say thanks for all that posted. Feel I got a good idea of what I need to set aside when I can finally do it.

Now I just need baby girl to continue to do well and get that degree in Dec.

$18,000. 6 spots, 4,300 ac. (2 tracts, 5 miles apart), 150 plus is a shooter. Largest 2, 184 and 193 typical. All bow. We're on our third 10 year contract. We bought a house in a small nearby town and have paid it off.
