Does that put out pretty good heat if you’re sitting around it?

I keep thinking I want more than just a fire in the ground, but man there just something about an open fire I love.

We can build you one out of a tank end that will last.

I made one out of an 18wheeler rim and its been used a lot in the last 10 years. I have a fire going in it tonight. Click image for larger version

I’m following this one closely. I’m about to pour a walkway in the back yard and decide on what kind of fire pit I want to put in. Absolutely want a swing over grate though

Ive had a round pile of flat rocks on the ground for 20 years. I got a pc of expanded metal to cook and contain the sparks. Spent many Friday nights around it when my boys were still at home!

What size are you wanting? Simple round tank end with a foot rest or plate fabricated with decorative cut outs etc?

we can be as basic or as fancy as you want.

Fire pits at, or below grade will always heat more efficiently.

Can you quote me a 36” with a footrest and swing over grate? I need it heavy duty to survive for a little while at the coast.
