This person has killed over 12 elk scoring over 400” snd most were purchased via Governors tags and Commissioner’s tags and ALL free range elk. This last elk was unguided but with help from family. Killed on the last day of his hunt due to state regulations.

From what I have read, this guy buys a lot of Comminsioners and Governors tags and has killed over a dozen elk scoring over 400". None are high fenced either.

Did a quick google but didn’t find much. What do these guys do that can buy multiple of those kinds of tags. Incredible animal and props to him for putting so much into conservation

Agreed, paying $50K -$100K per tag, for multiple tags, for several years must be extremely depressing

I read on another site he's a farmer. IF so, he's doing it right.

Regardless, congrats to him and an awesome accomplishment! Again, according to another site, 86 bulls, 12 over 400 all free range and with a bow.
