    3 Legged Doe

Just started to get pics of this doe this week. I posted these on out clubs FB page and another member said he had pics of her back in October and her leg was dangling then sometime in early November it had fallen off. Tough animals. I hope she continues to make it ok.

I've got a doe at the house missing a back foot. She hobbled around but she's healthy and has twins most years

I had one on a place I hunt that had twins the 3 years in a row I hunted it. They make it pretty good on 3

Years ago we had a 3 legged doe for 4 or 5 years. She was healthy and agile. Had twins 2 times. We called her Tripod Tina. She usually always dropped a button. Enjoyed watching her.

I’ve seen deer missing front leg before but think this is the first one I’ve seen completely missing a hind leg. I would think they used the hind legs for running and jumping a lot. Seems like most of their speed and power comes from them.

Back leg would be tough to go without. Like marshman said she's lost a lot of giddy up.

I had a dog that was ran over by a car he was chasing and we had to amputate one of his front legs. He was faster than ever once he figured out how to get around. Unfortunately, he didn't learn not to chase cars.
