Spent the last few days chasing trash fish with little man! Even managed to catch some slabs in the meantime. Back to business tomorrow though!

I chased the trash fish for a few hours today with only a couple fooled. I switched to crappie and found some before I jad to get off the water, kept 4 nice sized 12"-14" for dinner. Forgot to take any pics though, sure was nice on the water this morning.

Caught two channel cats this morning. One on a green&black crappie jig. The other was 19" channel on a minner. Also caught a doz crappie (3 on minners), 4 sandies, 1 BBass, and a Gou. Lost two crappie at the boat. And a sandie at the boat. Missed several bites on the jigs. Water was white capping when I got back to the ramp. Didn't get on the water till 9:30. Headed in at 2PM.

Fishing in 4-8 FOW. Wind pulled me off anchor twice. I was somewhat protected on a point. But it kept switching back and forth around the point.

I don't even remember turning on my LS this year, yet. Just side scan and sonar.
