Bad night on Bourbon Street

My sons and I just got back from New Orleans and were at that same intersection on Sunday. Hard to understand why they still allow motor vehicle traffic on Bourbon Street on nights and weekends. I know this guy maneuvered around what was supposed to be a barricaded area, but even on Saturday and Sunday you could legally drive there amongst the pedestrians.

My girlfriends son and ex husband were on Bourbon St last night, went to bed an hour and a half before this went down.

They have SWAT at his home in north Houston at this time. Hugh’s at Crescent Peak Road. Looks to be a large compound.

Based on a report from Fox News, the truck was a rental from Turo and was an EV truck driven by an ISIS member.

Also, not much reported a Tesla pickup exploded in front of a Trump hotel killing one. It was also an EV vehicle rental. Couple that with the Christmas massacre, when an Arab drove an EV BMW SUV rental into a crowd in Germany.

Two questions. Wonder if anyone else noticed a developing trend of using rented EVs for terror acts? When will the White House call for bans on these weapons of mass destruction called EVs?
