Oh man, that sucks! I had a similar fall several years ago. I was walking through some tall grass while looking up into the trees to find a good spot to hang a stand. I walked right into a big prickly pear that was buried in the waist-deep grass, and I tripped and fell face-first into it. No big rocks, thankfully. I was able to get my hands down and hold my head up out of the cactus, just barely. I had thorns from my neck all the way down to my boots. And, yep, including my nuts. I stripped down right there and pulled thorns for 20 minutes or so. It was a couple weeks before I quit finding more thorns here and there. I hope to never have that experience again.

Turn in your man card first if you start shaving your sack.

For you to say that you are blessed is Biblical. Perhaps a name change to Job is in order. God Bless you and heal quickly.

I went backwards into a huge cactus many years ago. I was still finding thorns in me months afterwards. It sucked rotten eggs!!!!

Hope you get all those thorns out sooner than later!!!!!

In 1991, I went into a huge pencil cactus. When I got up, the entire thing came with me. Barbs on those spines won't let you pull em out. After lots of work cutting my coveralls apart. I watched my knees swelling around the thorns. There would big a big dimple, then the thorn would pop under the skin.

They worked forward and mony exited my legs over 10 yrs. Some are still impeded in ligaments and cartilage to this day.

Man that's awful. I got pushed in a cactus when I was younger and that was unbelievably painful. Fell on my butt in it and I couldn't put my hands down to push myself out of it. I feel for you, those cactus spines ain't no fun in any way, shape or form.

Hope you mend up soon!! I took a stumble in some prickly pear and stuck a few through my muck boots and that was painful enough!
