Figured you guys have been bit by everything….

Got bit on the lower leg by something several days ago. Barely itchy and feel great otherwise. Would have gone straight to the doc if I had any other symptoms. If it’s not getting better etc I’ll head to the doc…..this thing looks gnarly and I can’t find similar pics online. Started out with the 2 bite marks circled. Anyone of you knuckleheads know what stuck me?

You didn't feel the bite / strike??

Hard to tell how far apart they are, but all I got is big spider or small dry snake?? Coulda been a double stick of some evil insect I guess??

Nope, didn’t feel anything. I don’t think it was a snake. My guess is double spider bite of of some sort. I’m not really concerned from a medical perspective at this time, just curious on what could have done this. Kinda weird how it 2 bites plus a poison ivy looking thing.

Anymore details such as where you were when it started itching? In the house or out in the field. That does look pretty gnarly. I’m sure it is an insect but I have had some poison ivy that looked like I was burned with blisters and red. Crazy.

Good buddy’s dad just lost a leg to mrsa. I think I’d ask folks a little more in the know.

Treat wounds serious. That's looking a little red.

Yeah, you are probably right even though I feel ok. I’ll make an appointment tomorrow. I’m more curious than concerned though.

Corinth, TX, live in the city. I didn’t do any hunting, visit ranch etc at that time. I’ll let you guys know what I find out.

Better to get it treated before infantigo sets in or anything worse. That stuff gets in you blood stream it can be really bad. That's coming from my wife with a nursing background.

Looks a lot like poison ivy, other than that I have no idea.

At first I thought you had a bite, but you dispelled that. You should go to an urgent care by tomorrow morning. I would go now. That looks like staph.
