Lake Meredith Fishing Guide

Going camping on Lake Meredith in April, anyone have a guide for walleye? Even tips for fishing there would help.

I kayak fished there this summer but got set back by high winds and heat. No help from me, but I believe there is a Lake Meredith fishing Facebook group that has lots of information. I need to go back

We used to catch them with a light Carolina rigged live minnow on a gold Aberdeen hook. Caught smallmouth, sandbass, largemouth, walleye, catfish and more on that rig. The lake was a lot fuller then but we caught a lot of fish there in the late 80’s early 90’s

We were driving around the lake bed 20 years ago in a pickup! I figure you would have had to bring your own water and fish by now!

Lake is at 40% Capacity right now, but is higher than it has been for several years.
