    JM Marlin value

Real values on JM marked Marlin 30-30 lever action with 3x9 Bushnell 90% clean rifle ... just seems these are inflated in price

Prices on the JM guns have come down some in the last year or so. I would say $650-$700. The bushnell scope doesn’t really add much if any.

That being said I’ve bought two pre-safety models in the last year for less than $500.

You did great if you can get it for 400!
I do lots of gun shows here in the Kerrville area and the JM Marlins HAVE been holding their value because the Ruger/Marlins, the Smith and Wesson Lever guns, Henry, Rossi, Heritage and Turkey have entered the lever gun market blazing and the older JM models are bringing a premium because the new smiths and rugers start at $1200. We get between 650-1000 on JM Marlins depending on condition. Rossi and the Turkish lever guns are in the 5-750 range.

You did NOT do good at all, and you should sell me that piece of junk. I’d even do you a courtesy and give you $450 for your troubles. 🤣

Hey , just figured out she was manufactured in 1968. That makes her over 50 years old and she is in beautiful condition... Reckon value just went up 👍

You got a good deal. I’ve owned several over the years and the “micro groove” barrels tend to shoot the 170gr bullets better than the 150’s.

You did good. I have two, one I bought new in the early '80s and my granddad's I think is from the '50s. His would never be for sale & I wouldn't take $1000 for mine.
