I had to eventually move on from my first bow, also a Jennings Buckmaster. Ken at ABW sold it to me and got me set up. Good times. RIP Ken

I have a Mathews Drenalin and a Hoyt Carbon Spyder but I'll grab the Drenalin every time.

The top 3 flagship bows are all $1,500 or more .........i am not a gun guy but dont pretty nice guns come at that price.........and I dont know anyone that buys a new gun every year to hunt with. Just wondering out loud really......lol

Yes you can get a really nice rifle for what a decked out bow cost. Plot twist the rifle will hold its value while the bow deprecates faster than a trailer house.

I feel like the 2005-2009 time frame was the golden age for bows. Very few significant advancements have been made since then in my opinion.

Took me years to find a bow that I like more than my Switchback XL. Now I shoot the Triax. Have not shot one that I can tell a big improvement from that one. Some days I think I made a mistake. Gave the Switchback to my son so I still use it as a backup.

OMGoodness.........exactly!!! These bows depreciate faster than even travel trailers. It is bizzarro at best.

Wow.......to think about it that may be very correct. Nothing earth shattering that makes me jump every year or two to get a new rig.
