POND KING - 2 man pontoon boat - any experience w/ these?

So i'm getting ready to retire in a few days. Nervous excitement about the next chapter in life. But one of the things i want to do is get back to fishing. I have no desire to buy a full blown boat, get out on lakes, etc. What i do want to do is get on smaller bodies of water and chase some crappie. I'm thinking of treating myself to one of these rigs as a retirement gift to myself. Does anyone have experience with one of these rigs? Stability in the water is my biggest criteria. I'll just use a trolling motor. I'll get a little trailer to haul it around. Any thoughts?

The all-aluminum Champ is a low-maintenance, two-man pontoon fishing boat. Ideal for fishing with a friend on your backyard pond!

I don’t, but I wish I had one to fish my pond. It only has bank access for less than half the shoreline.

Apparently they will deliver you one and put it directly into your pond. Git you some!

I've seen them and their duck blind boats, all very nice !! They stocked our pond. Not cheap but very well made right in their shop there. I didn't bother to shop them got a poly boat off FB local, now we need more rain.......

A lot of folks in my neighborhood have them for our private lake. Very stable and comfortable to fish out of. I looked into them when we first moved here but went a different route.

Thanks so much. Looking forward to it. It's going to be a change for sure. Hopefully i can make life difficult for some fish. Time will tell...

These little boats are really intriguing~

No experience with the Pond King but I bought a Hotwoods fish n sport pontoon when we owned a private lake and it was awesome. Very stable and could fish 4 out of it no problem.

For the money I would look at the Hotwoods Lil Sport 510. Its wider and longer than the PondKing you are looking at and only $500 more. I also has 4 pontoons so the stability/durability is incredible. They delivered to my lake.

Small, compact pontoon boats made with durable aluminum. Perfect mini boats for fishing or leisure. Call 1-877-407-8645 for more info.

I think that I would opt for the next size up. It won't take long for the deck that small to become cluttered.

They’re made well. I’ve fished off one of them on a big pond and they fish two people just fine.
