    New Meaning to WHITE-tailed Deer

This deer has never been seen on our lease before this morning. While my first thought was that it is 'albino', it appears to be leucistic as its eyes seem to be brown. Very pretty in any event.

I knew it was a fallow as soon as her head came into view. That's what their eyes look like. And then you get to the Adam's apple and everything else. Obvious fallow.

That is very interesting. We have no exotics around that I know (or knew) of, so another type of deer never crossed our minds. Live and learn!
We do have a high fence place next to us, but my understanding is that they have only native white-tail deer, no exotics or super-charged genetics.

My initial thought was fallow as well.

                Keep us up to date.
