    ? on feeder remotes

Does anyone use one and which ones do you use please?

I use The Timer feeder remote called THE-REMOTE. Have them on three of my feeders and would have it on the 4th if it was compatible with the Water and Woods 2 motor directional feeder.

I have used Moltries remote in the past and it worked fine when hunting from a bow blind, Not so much from a rifle blind a 100 yards away. THE-REMOTE is the way to go, especially if you want to control multiple feeders with one remote. I have 3 of them, and they work flawlessly.

Not sure what ones Jason has them on, but I use them with The Timer feeder units as that is all I run now.

The reason I asked is I have Lamco feeders which have been flawless but I’m not sure what timers they use.

I use the ones that Lowe’s grocery sells in RS! The timer is identical to THE TIMER and each timer comes with a remote. I’m on my second year with 1 unit and I use that one at 75yds by my home . My Second I purchased last year and no issues with it. I was surprised to find out it will reach out 145 yds to my hunting feeder from my back door - through thick woods. The actual remote is 1.25”x 4-3/4” so carrying one on a keychain like Jason’s is out of the question lol. The remotes is not matched to each timer but will work with all of their timers. Cost is 60.99 per each kit . timer + remote

All of mine are on The-Timer timers. Lamco 600s and a homemade one.

                  The-Remote.
Been running a handful of them for a long, long time. Best option we’ve found.

Just contact Ultra-Karl on here at Ultramatic. He will fix you up. Sponsor here and a great guy. I use The-Remote Pro on all my feeders. It is a 10 channel system so if you have multiple feeders at one location, you can set off just the one(s) you want. Mine works well from my tower blinds that are as far as 125 yards away. Been using them since 2014.

I went with The Remote as well, though I haven’t been able to use them yet this year other than testing them a couple times (feeders have been dead zones so far). I made sure the antenna was extended out of the controller enclosure and the varmit cage. Using with The Timer as well, seamless integration.

My next question is, what do I need to buy for 4 feeders? 4 remotes that will cost over $400 or is there another way to get a set up to control 4 feeders with one activator that you carry with you and 4 pieces for what fits inside your feeder housing?

I would reach out and talk with them.

I did and got a setup that one remote works for multiple feeders.

I use the remote. Been pleased with it, although had to replace the antenna on the unit at the feeder.
