We used to just trim all the way up to base of the ears and then all the way down to the knee. We also would shave the tail and just leave a little tuft on the end. Also we would wash them in woolite to give them a really bright white color. How much hair are you leaving on the goat? we usually left around an 1/8 of an inch on the goat. Hope this helps.

I'm in the same boat. I can fit for market shows all day long, but this is different.

Try this. http://barnonemeatgoats.com/. You may have to make a phone call.

Get the 4H County Extension Agent to come out and help you.

Already called him and he gonna try to find someone to help but probly gonna be a pro fitter and cost me. Yes this is for breeding does not wethers. I am a watch and type of person and the wethers are easy but shaping and blocking the does to hide the flaws and highlight the good.

Tried that yesterday the only thing I found on there was how to trim the feet. Glad I was not the only one to think of that. Thanks
