    Mr Buddy Heater

I know a few years ago there people here talking about problems with there heaters. Maybe some can help me. Mine will stay lit for about 10 minutes and it just shuts off. You can lite it again and it does the same thing. Every thing is clean no thrash or nothing else in it. Blue flame also.

Mine do that when they work at all. They are the single most biggest pieces of &@$+ I own. Every one is garbage and are all new

If you are going to use the smal bottles of fuel that screw into the Mr Buddy Heater, then you should be fine, BUT if you use a 5 gallon bottle with a longer hose, you better put a filter on the heater before the fuel hits the heater. I do this and have had zero problems on my 8 Mr. Buddy heaters!

My brand new one wouldn’t light, so I took it apart. The only abnormality I saw was the little copper line was slightly kinked, so I straightened it a tiny bit, no issues since.

That’s what caused issues with mine. Ever since I used a filter, no issues.

I think the hose breaks down on the inside and causes the problem. Several YT videos on the subject.

Is the pilot flame fluttering, or losing contact with the tip of the thermocouple?

Off the top of my head I would say thermocouple either needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Where can I get a replacement thermocouple for a Little Buddy Heater. I have cleaned mine good but still hard to light. Does fine once lit and pilot is perfect flame and blue. I called myself looking on Mr. Heaters site but could not find for the Little Buddy.

                            Thanks

Good to hear. I saw them and was wondering. Thinking about getting for a couple stands and dont have to tote the Little Buddy.
