Most of the titles that I don’t understand refer to newer stuff, there are a myriad of pistols, ARs, and long range rifles being made now. Most of them I’m unfamiliar with and have no interest in so I just skip them. I rarely surf the classifieds anyway unless I’m bored, I run across them as I’m reading the new topics. Anything single action I look at, and although I don’t “need” any, I can’t shed the “want”. I picked up a nice Ruger Bearcat at a fair price a couple weeks ago, and although I didn’t need it, I’ve never shot one in all my years of shooting single actions, so I’ll burn a few and give it to our son. I’m amazed at what some folks want for ARs, I guess they have lots of money in them, but the facts are, if you sink a bunch of $ in to a custom AR, you’re not likely to get it back. I have probably overpriced stuff myself out of ignorance, and not checking beforehand what an item is bringing. On guns, I check Gunbroker, and take some off, almost everything on there is overpriced.
