Mule Deer Hunt

I want to do my first muley hunt. Rifle or bow, no matter. I think, maybe rifle but if bow only, I will follow suit. Anybody want to take me up on that hunt?

Most of yall know this, I self taught all of my hunt. I'd like to be able to be schooled by somebody on this one.

I wish! I hv a friend that I lost contact via FB and on my old phone, he lives up there with Deaf wife whom Ive gone school with in Elementary. Durn it. He had offered me elk hunt, too.

I had a couple of great muley experiences in Wyoming. Relatively easy to draw a tag, lots of game and if you want you can draw an antelope tag too. It's a haul up there but you can hunt two critters in one trip. It was a blast. Stayed in Gillette in motel, went out and hunted during the day. All 4 of us shot mule deer bucks and antelope bucks each time we went.

Really? I thought out of state tags are PITA? Right now, I want to try Texas first and get my feet wet and get some ideas of what it is like. Wyo is beautiful state. I went there when I was 10 on an excursion trip in motor home from Ohio to Cali then back. We were going south first then came home up north.

Ill keep that in mind!
