      Something like this

I have a few of these and love them.

Thanks for all the help. I believe I’m going with a Milwaukee since I have most of the other tools and my son in law is a dealer and I can get it at his cost. I didn’t even know they made one till I talked to him.

This is the correct answer. Get something you already have other tools with the same battery. You can swap out batteries occasionally to make sure she stays up and running. My son is a Ryobi freak and in turn i have a decent amount of Ryobi stuff so I have a couple of Ryobi compressors (my truck, wife's car, ranch for atv's, etc.). But to me the most important part is to match your other tools for batteries.

I'm looking for flat to 60lbs on travel trailer, tractor trailer and f250. I got a bike compressor for all those little things

I purchased one of these last sat. I was in the middle of nowhere and found myself in need of. The one I purchased is gutless and I would classify it in the Light weight class . I’m bummed that Dewalt would even put their name on it. It’s going back to the STO.

The guy on Youtube call "Project farm" rates and compares all sorts of tools. He says the best one is the Milwaukie. He also says that the Kobalt one is pretty good if you are on a budget.

I see someone already share this.

I've got one in every vehicle. Used to get the cheap plug in lighter 12v. They last about a year airing up trailer tires and such. I really like the ones you can set the pressure and walk away for a bit. But I've gone to the Viair based on reviews here. Use the 12v plug in model on the kid and wife vehicle. Trucks that tow, i get the one that connects to the battery. Longer wire and hose for longer reach on trailers. Knock on wood none have failed me yet. I do have that cheap ryobi at the house for small jobs.

I bought a viair because of this thread the first time it came around. I’ve only used it on kids bike tires but I’m impressed. I went with the terminal clip one that was $90-100ish

Viair. You need it to work when you need it too. Get the higher pressure and 100% duty cycle. Wires straight to the battery and I wired the on off to my up fitter switch. Amazon has an inline 90 psi regulator for smaller jobs. Keep everything I need under the backseat. Was most of a Saturday to install above my spare tire but that was making brackets out of unistrut etc. Inlet is in the bed side hollow spot. It hurt, $600+ I think.

Those Li Ion batts stay charged pretty darn good...I keep a 20v impact driver for changing tires I hope I never have to use & change the batt every 3-4 months just cuz.

I bought the Slime that gator hooks direct to the battery for my permanent truck comp when my former plug in got rained on, but that DeWalt is so much easier.

The Viair has better feedback & will likely get that one next.

I have Viair 88p in the wife and kids cars and trucks. And a 300 or 400 in the F350.

The 88p hooks to the battery cables so you can forget about it. T

The 88p was in my 350 for a long time but only upgraded when I moved it to one of the other cars, and is quicker if you are airing down all 4 tires for off road.
