Tuna Trip Oct 21 '25 - Booking Now

For those of you that have always wanted on a Dolphin Docks trip but didn't have enough notice or the waitlist was too long, here's your chance. This is not the OG crew trip. That trip is booked for the November new moon. I was lucky enough to fish 2 of those trips, but the Nov booking doesn't really fit my schedule. That being said, I'm on the wait list for next year just in case! 😁

This is an "open" trip for the new moon Oct 21-23. Meaning you call DD 800-393-3474 and make your own reservations. Myself and a few buddies have already made ours. They just released the schedule this morning, and last I'd heard there were 10 spots left. The new moon trips are the first to book so don't wait too long if you want on it.

Yep, Don't want to hear and see no crying next year when the massive hauls of tuna are hanging.

Turns out being epic (or dang close) every year.

A bonus of going in Oct is AJ's are still in season. They'll wear you out and taste daaamn fine too. 6 guys in our group so far.

It's my birthday, need to treat myself. What's the rough "all in " costs on one of these?

            $1,350 for the trip
            $150+ for tip
$100 for some basic tackle/lures. Everything you'll need can be purchased at their store.
$500-$600 for a rod/reel set up if needed. There are usually spares on board that can be borrowed.
            Plus food/drink/travel/lodging.

It's an awesome trip! I need to go more than once a year but back to back in Oct then Nov doesn't work for me!

that's nonsense!! make it happen it! got the Lanig bros thinking about it!! Consider it an increased ROI on your tuna tackle. 😎

I was actually one of few guys on the trip this Oct that only went once a year. Most guys do 2-3 trips per year, but they do typically split them up early/late season.

Like I said, I'll be on the Nov trip as well if all goes well.

I don't think I can do October. What are the Dates of the November trip?

I would like to do one late spring or early summer. Mix, the November trips is full and has a waiting list. It's the weekend before Thanksgiving so there might be some changes in the crew by then.

Thank you. I'll give them a call and get on the list.

Just called to try to book a spot. Was told it was full. Took my name and number in case someone drops out.

Not surprised at all. New moon trips are the first to book. Probably a good chance you get on. A lot can happen in the next 10 months.
