Left beam in 34-1/8"
Right beam is 33 1/8" with the tipped chipped off. Probably can assume it was 34" ish.
Spread was 26.5"

Thank yall for all the kind words. I still can't believe it all came together on the last day. I usually chuckle at the hunting shows that always say...."It's the last day and we have to leave for the airport in an hour" ..... then here comes the target and the kill shot for added drama not knowing if it was just edited like that for views. Well it happened to me just like that.
To answer a couple of questions. I gave up half the meat. I would have given it all up for the generosity and the opportunity.
No Jody has not seen a chiropracter but we agreed not to do that again....lol

Congrats on your success. Axis are beautiful animals indeed. I have been hunting in Uvalde for the last 15 years. I have killed several nice Axis deer near Deep Creek, off of HWY 83. We have not seen but one small Axis doe in the last 3 years. We used to see giant herds of them. Trapping has had a tremendous impact on the free ranging herds. I don't know if we will ever kill another Axis on the ranch. It is disappointing.
