    4 Wheel drive help?

I was stupid this weekend. So i went mudding when i left i accidently left the car in 4 wheel drive and drove from livingston all the way back to houston in 4 wheel drive high. So i went about 100 miles at 80. I know i probably ruined my front differential. What should i do or what do you yall think happened.
    Any advice is appreciated.

I think you will be fine...

if nothing is broke or whatever and it still engages just dont do it again...

I had an issue electronically with my suburban (ifs like your truck). I "fixed" it. so diff was always engaged, but still had manual T-case control...

drove it for thousands of miles like that... no probs. I would be more concerned about your T-case being engaged and traveling that fast. BUT, like i said if it still engages and nothing is different I wouldnt worry.

I know they dont make em like they used to but allot of old trucks were full time 4x4. I am sure you will be fine...

You probably didn't do anything but get bad MPGs. If it is still engaging and disengaging I wouldn't worry about it.

Not a bad time to change the transfer case fluid, but you should be fine.

I don't think you messed anything up. My dad has driven his 2 times about 150 miles each trip and it didn't mess anything up.

I pull my travel trailer in 4-hi quite a bit. It still works fine. Give it a try and see if it still works. If it does then no worries.
