    Concho county Game Warden πŸ‘

I pulled up on my neighbors hunters yesterday morning and they had just cut a spike out of the fence. He was having a hard time moving around. Told them to call the game warden and put the deer in a ice chest. No phone call but boom here comes the game warden. He said broken hip, shot the deer, gave them a permit, got is his truck and drove off. Love it when a plan comes together.

Sometimes it seems like no good deed goes unpunished. Sounds like this one worked out well. Good for the GW and the guys that cut the deer out of the fence.

There's been multiple times in central TX that I've called the county game warden to put down a mortally wounded road-incident deer. They've always given the OK.

I called the Sheriff (was near Lampasas) when I found a wounded doe that was hit by a car. He acted like..why don't you just pull out your gun and shoot it? LOL I was thinking..If I did that a few miles south in Travis County I'd be in prison. Wild how different Counties can be.

I’ve got one. Son and 5 buddy’s were at the Moody place in Anderson. When they came in from a hunt there were two wardens in the lodge. The boys were going to the UT game that night and were concerned about leaving their guns in the trucks. Brian talked to them about it and one of the Wardens let them park 2 trucks and their gear at his house during the game. He didn’t have to do that. Bravo.

β€œThey were hanging out, two of them, at the lodge when we got back talking to the owners and guides. They caught some kids who shot 2 roseate spoonbills and an ibis. They had them in their truck. We were just chatting after the hunt.” Quote from son when I asked where they ran into the wardens
