My MIL always cooked a turkey, then shredded it and poured a bottle of barbecue sauce on it. I thought that was crazy! But after a few thanksgivings I got to liking it. She’s been gone a couple years now and I have to admit I missed it this year.

My MIL overcooked the turkey (and the ham), I would have killed for a bottle of bbq sauce….
beats one year, though, she turned the oven off half way through and it wasn’t cooked
