My mom uses a guy for her hair. Super expensive. Like $400 for a cut and color. My wife has mentioned multiple times that she wants to go to him, but she doesn’t want to spend “our” money on something like that.

I’m getting her a “voucher” for a cut and color from Edward Scissorhands , plus a 3 month subscription thing to a spa around the corner from her parents(where she is staying while I’m gone) so she can go get a massage once a month for the next 3 months.

She is much like me. Doesn’t want or need a lot, and the things she does want she for the most part goes and buys. We are both difficult to shop for. Biggest thing I can get her is time away where she can turn off mom mode and just enjoy herself.

My wife tried one of her friend’s at a girls retreat and had to have it.
She claims it’s keeping her head cool all night now.
This and a cooling blanket (off Amazon) and we can sleep side by side without her freezing me out.
