They have a page with parts on their website. Maybe open it up and see if something on there might fix it. They show a circuit breaker and then some mech. parts.

Usually some sales just after Christmas on grinders if you can't get it running. Good luck.

Parts for all units are not necessarily available via our website. If you don't see the part you need or you're uncertain if the available parts are the ones you need, please don't hesitate to call us toll free at 1-877-536-7763. Parts products cannot be discounted further.

If it is humming, it isn't the circuit breaker. I would look for a start capacitor or for worn out motor brushes. Next, I'd look to see if the gearbox is locked up. I'm just guessing here, because they don't show much at all in the parts. A wiring diagram or exploded parts diagram would go a long way to figuring out what it might be. I could probably open it up and find what is wrong rather quickly.

Contact their service department. I went to use my Wesson vacuum sealer on my first deer this season and it was toast. When I contacted Wesson they told me to ship it to them and then gave me an estimate for labor and parts once they opened it up. They were able to fix it for $35 and shipping. I was about to throw it away before I tried contacting them, but am glad now that I didn't. I see that LEM has a service department as well, so it would be worth reaching out to them for suggestions.

Thanks. That gives some hope. Was that capacitor one you found locally or ordered from LEM?
