    Consumer cellular

ATT has screwed me for the last time on my cell bill. Does anyone use consumer cellular for service? If so, what is your experience with them and their coverage for phone and internet? If anyone has other suggestions let me have them. TIA

Same towers as ATT as relates to service. For that reason, it was a no go for me.

Honestly curious to others feedback and options as well.

Use Cricket, been with them a long time and no problems. Cricket uses AT&T towers.

ATT quote me $132 per month for unlimited talk/text and data. How does that compare to other GS users?

Consumer wouldn’t do me any good because AT&T doesn’t work where I go. I’m on Ver-….i….zon (yes, that’s about how their service is too). If you know of anyone who uses Verizon towers and is cheaper I’d appreciate hearing about it.

Have had CC for several months, no difference in service from ATT but a lot less $$

Amen, exact same experience here. ATT service is HORRIBLE everywhere I go. Would love to see an option for a carrier using the Verizon network.

How's Consumer work out of town? Same nationwide coverage? I've always got good signal in the mountains and on the coast with ATT when pretty much everyone else I'm with struggles but it sure would be nice to go cheaper.

I've had Cricket for almost 8 years now. $35 month on auto pay. Unlimited T and text. 10 gigs with roll over. Uses ATT towers. If I remember right, CC is tied into AARP, who both donate to the national D party, if that makes a difference to you.

Looking at Consumer and Cricket for 2 lines and what my wife and I need for service, Consumer offers the best value. +50 2-line plans Consumer $60 and Cricket $90. We have been with ATT for many years and with my wife retiring, we can now reduce our outlay since she won't worry as much about service. ATT works for us where Verizon won't. We are getting ready to switch our internet to ATT Internet Air and get rid of constantly restarting T-Mobile. After that, we will move our phones.

I despise AARP, but I just switched my Medicare supplement to United which is tied to AARP. I’m probably going to hell for trying to save a little money !

i pay 50.99/mo for ATT unlimited everything (one line) using their prepaid service, additional lines are discounted, i forget how much. Cheaper than their contract plans, and no contract. set it up on autopay and forget it. I have been using it for 20+ years and never a problem, and never a surprise bill. You do have to supply the phone
