I have only been to the Toasted Yolk in Port Arthur a couple of times but it was surprisingly good.

Lots of great options listed, here are my favorites from when I lived there:
- J Wilson’s: great bourbon selection with good prices, man candy is a must have appetizer, good scenery at bar
- Tia Juanita’s: boudin quesadillas are great, seafood fondu is pretty amazing too
- Floyd’s: Ahi tuna steak (rare of course) is excellent, Redfish ponchartrain is great as well
- Daddios: Don’t think you can wrong with any of their burgers
- Carmelo’s: I think most all Tex Mex tastes the same, it’s a touch above that

I went to Chaba a year or so ago and it wasn’t near as good as I remember. I’d heard they sold out, maybe that was the cause or it was just an off night….I won’t be going back.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. It just so happens there is a Twin Peaks next to my hotel, so that is where I am currently. I look forward to trying Tia Juanita’s or J Wilson’s tomorrow.
