Drill Bit - South Tx Cull

Little late on posting my last hunt. Got invited to an incredible ranch. I’ve been on many great places with great management practices but I’ve never seen it to this scale. First evening there and I sealed the deal on a great cull buck. Shot him with my PSE Mach 33 and a Trifecta Broadhead prototype. He was down in less than 50! His tines twist like drill bits. Def the coolest character I’ve had on any buck I’ve killed.

Looks and sounds more like a trophy to me, than a cull. At least that what I am seeing.

In 40+ years of hunting and taxidermy(1000's of deer handled)I have never seen anything remotely close to that.

Place is 32k acres. Extensively managed for 23yrs! This buck was 9.5yrs old.

boy wonder…..I was amped on my meds and hadn’t been to bed in 30hrs lol.
