I'm looking, and there are so many. I don't want to break the bank on a landing net for coastal fishing. Thanks.

For coastal fishing, get something big enough to handle a large red or the like. You'll regret going too small if you hook into a good fish. I don't have anything with too long of a handle either but I fish mostly from a pier or boat. Academy, Walmart, or Bucees would have what you need and you may have more of a selection in stores closer to the coast than inland. Or get a gaff hook.Last edited by BayouCat; 11-17-2024, 09:03 AM.

I appreciate the suggestions. I've been looking at them. I found one I like with a long handle but no folding and no telescopic handle. I'm not concerned with compactness. At Amazon, though. I want to look at Academy next week when I'm there, but that will give me only a week for an Amazon delivery. I don't get two-day delivery here in Colorado County.
