Just picked up a DCCS620 recently, have used it to clear dead and fallen trees for the past two days. Happens to be my first chainsaw, so far quite satisfied with its cutting performance, the low noise level was what really surprised me though, totally changed my impression of how loud chainsaws...
Hopefuly, they’re right. Like I said, I just got mine, so can’t comment.
Ordered one yesterday for a Christmas present. Like others have said, hopefully these don't leak oil. I watched a couple videos yesterday, its insane a company like Dewalt would produce a product with such an obvious defect. Either way, looks easy enough to fix if necessary. I also saw guys upgrade the bar/chain to 14 or 15 inch (can' remember) Oregon bars to give them a bigger saw when necessary. Pretty cool to have that option.
The craftsman version I have leaks. I have to empty it after use. I filed my dewalt one yesterday and turn it over so if it leaks I'll be able to see when I get home
Upon arrival of this saw i filled it. No leaks. Used it leaks. After some reading on another thread I went to Google and found many reviews on Dewalt website. One with a link to YouTube. The answer was pulling the saw apart and putting some permatex on the crappy design cap to the oil tank and while there, the seems where it's molded together.
I'm off today will a little rat killing to be done so I did this. the vid i watched had parts everywhere. In the end the pictured black spring and sprocket DOES NOT need to come out. It's a PIA to get back with one person. My saw is back together and I'll fill with oil and check for leaks this weekend. Not a huge job and if it works, certainly worth the effort.

My northern tool attachment does as well. If this works I'm going to break down the craftsman battery saw at the lake. Both my sthil saws leak but not as bad as the dewalt is.

So it's the seams of the tank, itself? Sorry. I don't read too "good"

2 or 3 places really. But only 2 you can do something about. The seams and the where the filler hole is attached. The filler side is held on by 2 screws and has a "gasket" buts more plastic than rubber. It also appears to have 2 vents. The hose in this pic is one and another on the top. This hose on the side enters the tank half way up. I'd think it would be on the top. You can see the rubber vent on the top it along with the pick up tube shouldn't leak so long as the saw stays upright so I didn't mess with them. Plus they seem pretty tight
I plan on emptying the oil out after each use. Seems much easier than trying to modify it since the modification may leak as well. Probably won`t use it but a few times a year anyway.
