I think you are on the right track, but year I would definitely find another quote or two on the plumbing. Lots of plumbing companies are owned by PE conglomerates these days and their prices have gone sky high.

2 years ago I paid $2375 to have 100ft of 1" black pipe run for the generator and two hvac's.

The other quote I got was for $2800.
