Tecovas or Ariat. I know some of our members are more cultured with Luchesse level makers, but I’m simple and I just want a pair of boots to wear to church and day to day.
I wore luchesse for a long time but the last pair I bought were tecovas. I really like the tecovas and a lot cheaper. Whatever feels best on your feet I would get.
Tecovas. I go through boots fairly quickly as I’m hard on them. I wouldn’t say the Tecovas work boots last any longer than the others but they are very comfortable.
I started wearing Anderson’s a little over 20 years ago. They were great. The last 7-8 years thought they’ve been less than stellar. The quality has gone right in the dumper, and the price has gone through the roof. I’ve been wearing Ariat lately just cause I can get them dirt cheap or free. They’re comfortable, and definitely better than my last 3 pair of Anderson’s. They still don’t last like they should though. Haven’t tried Tecovas. May have to look at them for the next pair.
I bought a pair of Ariat square toe with wedge sole several months ago, they are work boots but they look plenty nice for casual wear, best boots by far I have ever owned, I think I am going to go buy a couple more pair just in case they stop making this exact boot, they are extremely comfortable from the get go.
