Best deal on diesel truck batteries

My last two sets of Motorcraft batteries for my 7.3 Powerstroke started leaking at the end of year one. Ford place replaced one set but will not replace my current pair as I cant find my receipt and they have no record of the swap. I will be going with my local O'reilly brand from now on. Good luck.

AC Delco batteries in my Duramax. 7 years on original and 8 years on second set. $145 a piece.

I`m on my 2nd set from Auto Zone(Duralast) on my Cummins. Both sets have lasted me 7 years. Probably have to get another set pretty soon with colder weather ahead.

This is /was me. I just had to use their warranty on the dualast gold. They were barely 2 years old. 2019 F250 diesel. My daughter has a duralast gold in her jeep and it just failed it was 1 1/2 years old. So maybe switching to the Walmart batteries next time.

something I learned about the auto zone warranty - you can only use it once. So if these batteries fail we have to purchase new next time to get warranty again. I understand but never knew how their warranty worked.

Batteries are a bust because whomever built the batteries swap hands so much these days. Y’all correct me if I’m wrong but I think there are only 3 manufacturers that build all batteries. Do your research on them and see who is the best manufacturer as of right now and chase their batteries down .

You’re not wrong, or we both are. I’ve heard the same thing, there’s only like 3 battery manufacturing plants.

I’m going on two years on my Napa batteries in my Duramax, we’ll see how long they last.

Agree, I typically run the EverStart batteries from Wal-Mart, they seem to be a solid 5yr battery, plus there's a Wal-Mart in most towns in case of emergency while on the road.

Yep have tried all the high dollar brands and they don't avoid early failures anymore than the Walmart brands. Plus with Walmart warranty and locations everywhere when a failure does happen its just more convenient in my book. I will say Interstate was a total disappointment for me on more than a couple times.

I run rebuilt batteries from a eagle battery In Alvin. I've been getting about 3 years out of them, but I can buy 2 batteries for the price of one.

I just got my WM battery checked and they told me it was good. Only 4 yrs old. "You have a bad starterr". So I went down to Napa a couple blocks away because They sold me the starter about 6 months before which a "lifetime warranty". They checked my battery and starter. Battery was bad, starter good. Bought new battery from them!
