They’re around, follow the creeks. They said that was Lewisville near The Colony border. Lot of green area over there following creeks to and from Lewisville. Dad saw them around Frisco in the 80’s and 90’s when I was a kid and I’ve seen evidence of them around the Grayson Co area for a long time. People destroyed their habitat in the name of progress, they’ve adapted👍
