I have no desire to shoot an arrow at anything much past 30yds anymore. To me, bowhunting is to see how close you can get a shot, not what’s the farthest you might make a shot.

8 yds and 25 yds with a bow. Gun, many hogs point blank, 864 yards on a prairie dog.

Absolutely straight down on a mature buck. Had to let him get out from under the base of my climber to shoot. 20ft high. Not sure on longest bow shot. I usually keep shots close.

With my longbow I killed a pig at 30 yards and one at point blank range - like 4-5 feet away.
