White Oak acorns

I’m looking for some white oak acorns to use for seedlings, I’ve got the first round planted (thanks Corey)
These need to be harvested from the tree or picked up the same day they fall due to bugs and moisture loss.
gladly pay for shipping if that’s an option.

If you know of a tree on public ground where I could go pick some up that would be great too. We are in the south Houston area.

I’ll look this morning when i climb down, I’ll be hunting a white oak flat this morning. If I can come across some just falling I’ll throw them in my outside fridge and shoot you a PM.

I am going to the farm this coming Friday for 5 days. We have 3 100+ yr old white oaks in the yard at camp. Its been loaded with acorns but has been getting hammered. I will pick some up if I can remember. Can try to get a few variety of whites, we have at least 3. How many are you wanting? Do me a favor send me an PM next Saturday as a reminder. I am in North Houston and usually near downtown or Galleria area once a week.

With all this wind in my area there should be allot falling if not already completed their shedding of their bounty.
