Has anyone ever used a Dog Transporter

I have purchased an upcoming English Lab puppy. The breeders in Union Church, Ms. Just curious if anyone has used a service or possibly knows someone. It’s not awful far drive around 6.50 hours oneway.

When are you getting the pup?

I TBH expressed a pup I found at the ranch one time. Hope the pup is doing well. He gave me fleas.

A year and a half ago, my husband and I drove 23 hours one way to pick up a 7 month old pup in Idaho, spent the night and drove 23 hours back. Yes, it was worth it to him. That's one heck of a dog. Obviously, I don't know anyone that hauls dogs.

My son drove 12+ plus hours for one of those dogs. He’s a good boy. Why do you need a transport?

Army buddy of mine. No idea the schedule, cost, availability or anything. Just know it’s what he does now.

edit to add: he is not in Texas. But going off his posts on Facebook, he drives all around. Like I said, I don’t know anything about it but might be worth inquiring.

When do you need the dog? I drive to Orange every weekend to see my wife and kids from Bertram. It's only 4.5 hrs from Orange. Wouldn't be to hard for me if I can convince the Mrs to a road trip one weekend depending on timing.

Wife has friend that raises cats and dogs and her son has a transport I never knew it was a thing but we use transports for horses and trust me some a way better than others......makes sense that there are dog transports as many get sold at long distances I know one that his flew into DFW but I think that's pretty nerve wrecking for one vs professional ground

If you want me to help just shoot me a text and we can try and work something out. It would have to be on a weekend though.

We breed English Labs and Aussies. We use ground transporters often to get pups to their new homes across the country. Its typically around 650.00 on avg but can be hard to get the timing lines up right at times. I prefer to just fly and get the puppy and bring it back with me in the cabin if its close to an airport. There is a website called Citizen Shipper that you can select a date, pickup location and drop off location. Shippers will send you bids for their service.

I have picked up 2 labs from the airport. They were taken to the airport by the breeder and then I pick them up at the airport. It's been a while since we have done that so I am not even sure that it still an option.

I've used a guy several times. He drives all over the country delivering dogs to buyers, trainers etc. I paid $350 the last time and that was from Missouri to Houston. I'll find his number if you want it
