    yuck

Friend found this in his tank Oct 30. turns out the neighbor’s 16 y.o. Grandson shot it on October 2nd. As you can see in the last pic, it was not a good shot.

I drug a floater out of a tank last year. I just knew it was a pig I shot with my bow and never recovered. Turned out it was a doe someone had shot too low. They sure stink by the time they float!

Here are the other two pics I failed to post at first--you can see the entry wound in the last pic. Nice buck from Llano County.

Dang, thats a shame, nice buck. I pulled a floater out of our tank, a couple years ago, with the golf cart, as it tumbled up the bank, chunks were falling off of it.
Worst smell I've ever smelt, I almost lost it.

Just curious on something like this. Did you give it to the neighbor or have them come get the horns? Or did you leave it lay?

I think I would let / tell the kid to come tag it so he could have the horns and euro it. Just me.

Someone might as well get something out of it. I bet it would be a good reminder for the kid. Not only about hunting, but about how to treat a kid a couple
of decades down the road that might make a questionable / bad shot. Maybe.
